We leave home in Winter (January) and, within a few days, will arrive in Summer (January - February). But summer doesn't mean warm in places like the Falklands and parts of Chile.  We leave Summer and head into Fall for New Zealand, Australia, and Africa.  Then we just skip Winter and head into London's chilly Spring.
